Doris Lynch lived in Alaska for seven years including one year in an Inupiat village above the Arctic Circle. She’s won awards from the Indiana Arts Commission, Alaska Council on the Arts, Chester Jones Foundation, and the Haiku Society of America. Recently she’s published many haibun, a Japanese form that combines haiku and prose. She lives in Bloomington, IN.
